Verticalizer REHASTEP is a type of orthesis equipped with a stable base and jointed system with regulated scope of movement, supporting bottom and upper body parts of a person with paresis of lower limbs. It enables individual, safe standing in upright position and independent- active or with help of another person- passive movement in any direction.
We offer this device in 3 versions:
- static version (stiff system of knee joint)
- dynamic version (with elastic knee joint system)
The device is used in active rehabilitation of disabled people with paraplegia and tetraplagia as a result of following illnesses:
- post-traumatic paraplegia
- post-traumatic tetraplegia
- multiple sclerosis
- infantile cerabral palsy
- meningomyelocele
- muscular dystrophy (if the doctor doesn't advise different treatment)
